Garmin Varia UT800 Koplamp

Garmin's smart front light packs a lot of technology inside its taut shell, automatically adjusting its brightness depending on speed, location and time of day. Perhaps more importantly to ardent road cyclists, it neatly slots onto existing Garmin "out-front" mounts, keeping the cockpits of carbon racers clean and streamlined.

Besides being heavy, mount isn't very strong & really far back so tends to love on different mounts. Doe's communicate with Garmin which isn't necessary but is neat.

Great light for road or MTB rides. The whole Garmin system is a bit a pain to connect together at times, but when it does it's great.Also had an issue with a FW update that left the light unusable (replaced by Jenson).

Light is bright and gives me a good 10+ feet of coverage on those early mornings and dusk rides.Perks, connects to my garmin!
