De Sony A7R IV biedt een indrukwekkende 61MP full-frame sensor, uitstekend dynamisch bereik en geavanceerde autofocus met oogherkenning. Het lichte en compacte ontwerp is ideaal voor reizen en professioneel gebruik. Dubbele UHS-II kaartsloten en USB-opladen zijn handige extra's. Nadelen zijn de hoge prijs, complexe menu's en een matige batterijduur bij intensief gebruik. Er is geen ingebouwde flitser, wat voor sommigen een minpunt kan zijn.

Good Points: Resolution Brilliant f2.8 12-24 GM lens Improvement Points: Poor f2.8 24-70 GM lens… it rattles when you walk with camera round your neck Very fussy and unhelpful menu no way round Needs a grip another £360

After about a year using the a7RIV, I have (I think) definitive thoughts about it. TL/DR: Very good camera that could (should) have been better in many areas. Pros: - well, resolution! The full-frame images are gorgeous, full of details, crisp and clear. Amazing. The APS-C crops are also excellent, although once you tasted the full frame resolution... I now prefer attaching a TC since high ISO is good than using APS-C crop mode when possible. Note that combining a TC and APS-C mode still ...
