De Nikon Z f met 40mm f/2.0 SE is een lichte, compacte set die uitblinkt in dagelijks gebruik en straatfotografie. De lens levert scherpe beelden in het centrum, vooral als je iets diafragmeert. De autofocus is snel en stil, wat prettig is voor zowel foto als video. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding wordt vaak geprezen. Nadelen zijn de mindere scherpte aan de randen bij volle opening, de plastic bouw en het ontbreken van beeldstabilisatie. Ook is het bokeh niet altijd even fraai. Voor wie een veelzijdige, betaalbare en draagbare set zoekt, is dit een sterke keuze, maar veeleisende landschaps- of portretfotografen kunnen beperkingen ervaren.

Excellent camera! I bought 1y5m ago and use for work! It's perfect for any kind of job, ( my use is mainly in Architecture and Portrait photos). Very good choice and no regrets! ( don't forget to buy together with the Smallrig Grip).

De Nikon Zf is een heel fijne, capabele camera die heel veel biedt tegen een relatief schappelijke prijs. Het is mijn eerste full frame, en ik vermoed dat dat ook voor veel anderen geldt. Wel is hij (zoals elke camera) niet per se geschikt voor alle situaties of elke fotograaf. In mijn recensie leg ik uit waarom, waarbij ik inga op de eigenschappen van de Zf die mij het meest opvallen.

I'm really enjoying the Zf, my first serious mirrorless camera, attracted to the Nikon F3 vintage tactile feel and vibe. As a retired enthusiast shooter, I'm OK with the lack of function buttons and am still experimenting with different function button assignments to suit my landscape and cityscape use cases. The overall product quality is every bit as good and robust as I've come to expect from Nikon over the years-- superb! And I had a terrific buying experience with Tom at the Arlington store. He was very nice and helpful and followed through quickly and professionally with my order, bundling a couple other Z lenses (28mm f/2.8 SE and 24-120 f/4 S), with no unpleasant surprises. I am very happy with my purchase and with my whole experience with this company.
