De Nikon Z6 II met FTZ adapter is een veelzijdige full-frame systeemcamera die uitstekende beeldkwaliteit en snelle autofocus biedt, vooral met Z-mount en moderne F-mount lenzen. De FTZ adapter maakt het mogelijk om veel bestaande F-mount lenzen te gebruiken, wat kosten bespaart. De bouwkwaliteit is stevig en weerbestendig, en het ontwerp is ergonomisch. Wel is er geen autofocus met oudere AF-D lenzen en mist de adapter een statiefaansluiting, wat minder handig is bij zware lenzen. Ook zijn de kosten relatief hoog en werken sommige derde partij lenzen niet volledig. Dit maakt de set vooral aantrekkelijk voor wie al moderne Nikon lenzen bezit en wil overstappen naar mirrorless zonder direct alle lenzen te vervangen.

Mainly used for street photography in black and white. I try to aim for contrasting shadows to add interest.

Takes great pictures but at this price you wouldn't expect anything less. The problem is that the menu system is so complex and there are so many digital settings that just detracts from the actual photography. Battery life is average build quality and ergonomics are good. I spent more time playing around with settings,always wondering if the shot was "the best" and in the end I was just frustrated instead of engaged in the photographic experience. I understand that modern cameras have to be cutting edge and use the latest tech, but SLRs and DSLRs allowed fantastic photos to be taken for decades, so the tech doesn't necessarily improve the end result. Gadgetising cameras to make them function with modern tech just takes away the whole photography experience for me.

Awesome camera! More compact and lightweight than a DSLR, and it's also quicker anymore responsive to the touch. All around excellent mirrorless camera!
