De Fujifilm X-E5 biedt een uitstekende beeldkwaliteit dankzij de 40MP sensor en geavanceerde beeldverwerking. Het compacte, lichte en stijlvolle ontwerp maakt hem ideaal voor straat- en reisfotografie. De in-body stabilisatie tot 7 stops en veelzijdige autofocus met onderwerpdetectie zijn grote pluspunten. Analoge bediening en filmsimulaties spreken liefhebbers aan. Nadelen zijn het ontbreken van weerafdichting, het scherm dat alleen op en neer kantelt, en beperkingen bij 4K-video (crop of subsampling). De kleine grip is minder prettig bij gebruik van grote lenzen. Voor fotografen die flexibiliteit en kwaliteit zoeken in een compact jasje is dit een topkeuze.

This camera is robust with an alloy top and bottom plates, it produces images that suit my approach and style the Fujifilm film simulation I find very interesting and useful. The controls are some times fiddly for larger hands, the front command dial with its press to change function is irritating as you can change a function with an inadvertent press. On the whole it performs well at the moment, and is doing what I require of it.

I think the real hype should be around the XE5 being it's a X100iv with the addition to swap lenses, luckily it's a model that social media hasn't gotten ahold of thus letting me get my hands on one.
