De CH Products Throttle Quadrant Controller is populair bij serieuze flightsim-gebruikers vanwege de zes volledig programmeerbare assen en twaalf knoppen. De bouwkwaliteit is stevig en het apparaat gaat jaren mee, wat vaak wordt genoemd als groot voordeel. De controller werkt probleemloos met veel besturingssystemen en de verwisselbare knoppen maken het mogelijk om de indeling aan te passen aan verschillende vliegtuigen. Nadelen zijn het wat verouderde ontwerp, het ontbreken van HOTAS-knoppen op de hendels en het feit dat het apparaat grotendeels van kunststof is gemaakt. Ook wordt de prijs als relatief hoog ervaren voor de geboden functionaliteit. Voor wie veelzijdigheid en betrouwbaarheid zoekt, is dit een solide keuze, maar wie het nieuwste design of meer metalen onderdelen wil, kan beter verder kijken.

I use it for X-Plane 11. It was hard to configure correctly. After searching the net, I had to download and install a software to make it work like it should.

It seems there was no quality control on this batch of units. The main problem I have is the levers lack precision. It is impossible to calabrate the levers so that if you have 2 levers side by side that they give the same input value to the simulator. I fought the problem for about an hr but I eventually just put these on the shelf and went and bought a higher quality Throttle Quadrant that you can find by googling.

It works Great on X-PLANE 10 and 11. The quantity of buttons is okay for regular users and even for me ( I am a real life turbo prop pilot). Highly recommended.
