Festool Kapex KS 120 EB

Kostbaar maar erg prettig in gebruik. Toch met ug ka set. Nooit gedacht dat ik hem compleet wilde hebben. Maar in the go. Isbhet een erg prettig systeem. Links en rechts een meetlint en aanslagen. Alleen de zaag van het onderstel af tillen of er op plaatsen omdat hij in de werkplaats stationair opgesteld staat is niet leuk. Voor de rest. Erg gave en zuivere zaagmachine.

Do yourself a favor before you but this and Google "Kapex motor problems" and you will be amazed at what you will find. My burned up two motors in less than four years. First time it burned up was about after two years of using the saw and festool covered it under warrenty in lightning time! The saw broke on Monday, sent it off to their repair shop on Tuesday and it was sitting on my door step repaired Thursday afternoon when I got home from work! A year and a half latter the exact same problem occurred, smoke rolling out of the top of the saw, this time festool wouldn't cover under warrenty. I have several festool products and I believe they make some excellant tools but the Kapex has a glitch that they are not willing to correct at this time.

I'm getting ready to send mine in for repair. Third time in two and a half years. First time fence would not slide fully and some other annoyance I don't remember. Second time throwing fine mist of oil on wood, bad seal. This time the bevel mechanism broke.

This site lists this under 12 inch saws, but the blade diameter on this saw is 10-1/4" (260 mm) according to Festool website.

Super machine zaag mooi en gebruik vriendelijk, zeker een aanrader.
