Excellent little machine. Easy to use and makes a great cup of coffee every time. Fairly easy to clean once you get used to the different parts. Works best when using a paper filter.

Makes great tasting coffee and sounds the part but.. you need to clean the whole thing after every use - event if using disposable filters. The steam from the percolation travels up through the grinding mechanism and causes residual coffee to turn into a nice sticky mush that ends up over the worktop as you pull it the parts to clean them. You often can't remove the grinder immediately after use as it expands to become tight so won't pull out. Even if you do get it to the sink without brown dust and mush everywhere as soon as a jet of water from the tap hits the parts you'll find that they've been cleverly designed to disperse a spray of brown water all over the immediate area Oh and if you want a second cup straight away for a guest then you'll need to dry it all too. Great design Cuisinart - you've really nailed it !!

I love this. It's loud though so sends my cats running in different directions. I still use it every day. They will get used to it.

It was leaking from underneath so had to return it. Having said that it did make a great coffee and looked lovely in the kitchen

Only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 is it doesn't have a timer. Other than that, I love being able to make one cup - of varying sizes - at a time
