This is a great shoe at an affordable price. The only issue I have is the sizing. I bought a pair about 6 years ago and the fit was just right. I bought another pair this past summer the same size and it's a bit too snug. I don't know if my feet are getting bigger at age 68 or what's going on. At any rate these are great shoes. They hold up very well. I guess I'll just go up half a size.

Just returned from a week long trek across the countryside in Ireland. Because they are Salomons, which I have worn faithfully for years, I wore them right out of the box and onto the Burren, hiking up to the Cliffs of Moher, the Ring of Kerry, to the beaches of County Cork, and all over the city of Dublin---with zero hitches, glitches, issues, problems. I highly recommend this shoe.

I purchased this shoe for OCR. I've used it in a couple of races now as well as short off road runs and at the gym to break it on. The traction on this shoe is great, as is the water drainage. Only downside is it's a little heavy, and doesn't have the cushion of typical running shoes. But that's to be expected.
