Hello all, I’m happy to report these shoes were exactly what I hoped for. I’ve be a LaSportiva guy for many years and my hiking shoes were the Spires. Great shoe but when I tried to replace these with the current model the fit was not the same. I have a wide foot and tried several brands before trying the Cloudrock Low Waterproof Hiking Shoes. Had my first hike with these today and was very impressed with the way the shoes fit and felt.

These comfortable, sturdy shoes run true to size. I love that they’re waterproof.

I purchased these shows for travel. Have worn them aroung 40 days. Used them for a trip to New England in the winter and then a summer trip to Europe. The waterproofing is excellent, kept my feet dry walking in snow, sleet and in a major downpour. They are also quite comfortable, and for my 2 week trip to Europe, I ended up wearing these almost everyday. The reason I did not give this a 5 star is they are starting to tear on both heals. They have not been worn enough for them to start to wear out like this. Because it is both heals, I am believing it is not a defect, rather poor material.

Took these on a couple of hikes through Shenandoah, and most hikes were done post-rain, so there was mud and some trekking through shallow waters, but these held up and kept my feet dry! Very good with grip too imo, The bottoms were wet but i was still walk to walk up rocks and sloped terrain no problem (20-30% grade).

I bought for a trip to Norway. After 1 day in Bergen, touring in the rain my feet were wet. There is a seam from the tip of the toe back to the laces. This is not visible from the outside but you can feel the seam in the lining. This seam leaks water. Apparently the Swiss have not figured out how to engineer a waterproof seam.
