TP-LINK MC210CS Netwerk mediaconverter LAN, SFP 1 GBit/s

I bought the MC220L to replace my Freebox Mini 4K with an "old generation" fibre connection. It's perfect. Subscribers with a more modern connection won't be able to do without the box, but I'm lucky enough not to be in that situation. I took the SFP out of the box and plugged it into the MC220L. I didn't even need to buy another SFP :) It consumes around 1.3W and is not ventilated, whereas the Freebox consumed around 15W and made a bit of noise via its fan. As I don't use either the TV via the box or the phone via the box, I haven't lost out on anything!

The service for ordering and delivery was perfect. I was unable to use this product for its intended purpose because of my internet operator.

Gebruikt ter vervanging van de apparatuur van Caiway en Delta (Genexis modems). Werkt feilloos. Laag stroomverbruik en doet wat het moet doen.

Aangeschaft om een Fritz!box 5490 te vervangen omdat ik al een router heb. Opgehangen in de meterkast met de schroefgaten onderop. Werkt perfect met een TP-Link TL-SM321B SFP en een SC/APC–LC simplex kabeltje. Apparaatje blijft koud. De Fritz!box werd altijd warm, ondanks dat alles erop uit stond.
