It arrived quickly and was working or in the condition so described in advertisement.

So my old startech DVI stopped working after Mac updated to 10.13. Cut out my other screen. So I bought this the 4K and they had a update and works perfect. I did need this to match my other 2 screens and the DVI wasn't the right resolution to match the others. Slight smaller. I installed the software and Boom, works. Looks great and back up and running. Does only come with PC install software but if you go to the site you can download it for mac. This is running off my mac mini with 3 screens. 2 from the mini, and this startech from the USB.

Somewhat laggy with the mouse or moving pictures but very crisp and clear picture on Samsung 4K Ultra display. Dont use it to watch movies but for work driving a large 28" screen in windows it is great.

I got this to be able to use my MS Surface Pro 3 with my 4K TV. To that end it works, but you are limited to a refresh rate of 30 Hz, which makes moving the mouse very jumpy. It's not an issue if you just want to view digital still photos at 4K resolution (it really makes a difference, and shows you how dramatically better pics from a digital SLR camera are than a cell phone!) But if you want to use your 4K display as a computer monitor where you use your mouse a lot, it is pretty painful at the lower refresh rate. For that either get an adapter that supports 60Hz. My workaround was to use the next lowest resolution on the TV (still higher than 1080) which works with 60Hz and is smoother.

Works perfect, easy to install and trouble free. Work just like a built in video adapter very cool. I already had two 24" monitors connected to my PC but I bought a 50" UHD TV to use as 3rd monitor so I could share a screen with my staff for training. Works perfect.
