De Philips 5000 Serie S5467/17 biedt een comfortabele scheerervaring, zowel nat als droog, en is geschikt voor verschillende huidtypes. Het apparaat heeft flexibele scheerkoppen die goed de gezichtscontouren volgen en een lange batterijduur met snellaadfunctie. Schoonmaken gaat snel en eenvoudig. Wel zijn de scheerkoppen minder robuust dan bij oudere modellen en kun je het apparaat niet gebruiken tijdens het opladen. De trimmer is handig, maar kan soms terugklappen. Over het algemeen is dit een veelzijdig en gebruiksvriendelijk scheerapparaat voor dagelijks gebruik.

the shape of the shaver is good and it holds the charge well. It does not give such a close shave as a wet shave so I may just use it when I am travelling.

Unfortunately, whilst this razor gives a excellent and comfortable shave, it is ergonomically flawed. The on off button is situated in a position that makes it impossible to avoid constantly accidentally switching it of whilst shaving, requiring it to be held in an awkward and incorrect manner to carry out a shave.
