Deze theepot in eenheel sterke glassoort (kan tegen een stootje) is superhandig , vooral de inoxe theefilter met doorduwsysteem is een pluspunt - je stopt de losse thee (of zelfs een builtje) in de filter laat de thee de gewenste tijd trekken en duwt hem dan vast naar onderen (kan dus niet verder trekken) je kan hem gewoon laten zitten tot alle thee is opgedronken .- wil je de thee warm houden? zet hem dan op een warmtebron (een chambord met een theelichtje) - ietsje duurder in aankoop maar na 10 jaar en intens gebruik nog steeds een topper! Filter gewoon uitspoelen en klaar - geen residu door de superkleine gaatjes . Eeen aanrader voor eigen gebruik maar ook als cadeau .

This is a beautiful French Press. The glass beaker slips out of the metal holder for cleaning. I had read that the screen on the press was plastic but mine is metal. Remove lid, put your coffee grounds into the press, add hot water, stir with wooden spoon (not metal as it may scratch the glass), put the top on with the non-pour side toward the pour spout and the plunger pulled all the way to top, set timer for 4 minutes, slowly press down on plunger until it stops (make sure that French Press is on a towel or non-skid surface), turn the lid to the open pour side, pour your coffee into cup.

When I originally received this, it came broken. Glass had shattered inside the box, but that's not the sellers fault, it's more of people at Amazon throwing boxes around hastily. I put in a replacement order and the seller hastily acted in sending me a new one, no questions asked! After using, I am extremely satisfied, it's a world of difference between your traditional drip coffee appliance. Would recommend this brand again, amazing customer service!

The circular screen mesh was jagged and not cut out as a perfect round circle as with most French press brands. The circular tension spring was also not cut to the correct length, it had a bulge and this caused a poor seal on the edges of the screen, allowing coffee grounds to rise in to the top chamber. I have returned this product back for a full refund. Poor construction and quality control on behalf of this manufacturer. I would buy a better brand and not waste your money on this junk.

Mine came with two small dents on the side of the screen filter. This lets a lot of coffee grounds through. I tried to straighten the dents out, but it didn’t work. It’s ok, but I don’t use it much due to this. The coffee is delicious if I can keep grounds out.
