De Samsung QLED 4K 75Q70D (2024) biedt een indrukwekkende beeldkwaliteit met heldere kleuren en scherpe details, vooral bij 4K en HDR-content. Gamers profiteren van het 120Hz paneel, HDMI 2.1 en VRR, wat zorgt voor vloeiende en responsieve gameplay. De Tizen interface en SmartThings app maken het instellen en bedienen eenvoudig. Wel zijn er duidelijke nadelen: het ontbreken van lokale dimming zorgt voor minder diepe zwartwaarden, en de kijkhoeken zijn beperkt. Ook mist de TV Dolby Vision en is het geluid niet bijzonder krachtig, vooral qua bas en surround. Voor wie vooral centraal kijkt en beeldkwaliteit belangrijk vindt, is dit een sterke keuze, maar voor home cinema in donkere ruimtes zijn er betere alternatieven.

We love the viewing experience as in the size and quality of the display. The very simple remote is a barrier to exploring what is available on this tv. No numbers to change channels easily means soooo much scrolling. The phone remote does not improve it. It means what we watch is very narrow. We have kept our Apple TV connected because their remote is much easier to use rather than the TV apps.

Great picture and sound for a fair price. Functionality of the menus and remote control just makes sense. Upgrading from my previous Samsung tv of almost 20 years I was relieved this Samsung Smart tv was the right decision.

Product comes well packaged. Easy to install, needs 2 people to carry. Good features, including scheduling recording, pre installed apps, samsung plus, etc. Some features are a bit gimmicky, example: the picture in picture only let's you select certain sources (not sure if this is a user error). Other cons: Screen is very glarey, sound quality is not the best and would recommend a sound bar.
