De Redmi Pad 2 is een budget-tablet die uitblinkt in waar het op aankomt voor dagelijks gebruik. De accuduur is het sterkste punt: de 9000mAh-batterij gaat makkelijk 1-3 dagen mee, afhankelijk van gebruik, wat opvalt in deze prijsklasse. Het aluminium ontwerp voelt premium aan en met 7,4mm dikte is hij lekker dun. Het 11-inch 2.5K-scherm is scherp genoeg voor video's en browsen, hoewel het geen OLED is en buitengebruik beperkt blijft. De vier speakers met Dolby Atmos leveren verrassend goede audio voor films en muziek. De MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra processor draait apps en lichte games prima, maar zware games kunnen haperingen vertonen. Het 18W opladen is traag (15W adapter meegeleverd), dus je moet geduld hebben. De 5MP frontcamera is teleurstellend voor videobellen. Voor €219 (256GB/8GB variant) krijg je veel waar voor je geld als je geen topspecificaties verwacht, maar gewoon een betrouwbare tablet zoekt voor entertainment en licht werk.

I've been using this pad for almost 2 weeks now. I must say, I'm quite impressed, no disappointments. The hardware is fabulous and the quality is good. The software is amazing as well since it's a HyperOS system. Camera quality is good. Weird thing only is that it doesn't have a torch, but that's fine for me, it's not really necessary. I normally use it for school projects and studying, I sometimes play games on it and watch series, no lagging whatsoever. Overall I give it a 5 star, I have no regrets and o would recommend it to anyone.

Honestly could not have bought a better tablet for my 6 year old. I am a very technical inclined person who actually cares about performance and the build quality of a device. This device boasts an excellent battery life. Ample space with the option to expand. The boosted RAM is a nice to have. The speakers are incredibly with the dolby atmos surround sound. Fast and agile with proper built quality. Having a aluminium based chassis for that premium feel. While this budget tablet does not spec with high end tablets. It still packs a punch above its weight. Takealot has wowed me on how smooth and fast the delivery was. Giving me ample time to setup the device with the proper parental controls
