De Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 8.7" met 128GB is een compacte en betaalbare tablet die uitblinkt in dagelijks gebruik en lichte games dankzij de Helio G99 processor. Het heldere scherm is prettig voor films en lezen, maar de resolutie is aan de lage kant waardoor tekst soms korrelig oogt. De tablet krijgt langdurige software- en beveiligingsupdates, wat uniek is in deze prijsklasse. Het geheugen is eenvoudig uit te breiden en het lichte ontwerp maakt hem ideaal voor onderweg. Nadelen zijn de korte batterijduur, het ontbreken van stylus-ondersteuning en een matige camera. Ook is het scherm minder vloeiend door de 60Hz verversingssnelheid. Voor wie een compacte tablet zoekt voor basisgebruik en entertainment is dit een goede keuze, maar voor intensief gebruik of betere beeldkwaliteit zijn er alternatieven.

Suitable for everyday, standard use (internet, listening to podcasts, watching videos and viewing photos). However, when the tablet was set up, AI software was installed, which made it difficult to shut down the tablet. Fortunately, LDLC explained to us over the phone that this was Samsung-associated software designed to assist users and that there was no risk of data being used.

Bought for my two children, mainly for Roblox... and mission accomplished! The tablets run smoothly, with no lag, a responsive interface, and are easy to use, even for them. The result: happy children, absorbed in their games... so happy parents too! (The real benchmark, let's be honest.) Good value for money, product meets expectations. I would definitely recommend it for children/family use.
