De Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 is een solide budgettablet die zich onderscheidt door jarenlange softwareondersteuning - zeldzaam in dit prijssegment. De MediaTek Helio G99 processor biedt goede dagelijkse prestaties en kan zelfs Genshin Impact draaien, hoewel niet op hoogste instellingen. Het compacte 8,7-inch formaat maakt het apparaat ideaal voor lezen, streamen en casual gaming. De batterij houdt ongeveer 14 uur vol bij websurfen. Belangrijke nadelen zijn de lage schermresolutie waarbij pixels zichtbaar zijn, het ontbreken van S Pen-ondersteuning voor notities maken, en de 60Hz verversingssnelheid die minder vloeiend aanvoelt dan concurrenten. Ook ontbreekt een vingerafdruksensor. Voor wie een betaalbare, compacte tablet zoekt voor media consumptie en eenvoudige taken is dit een uitstekende keuze, maar voor tekenen, intensief gamen of scherpe beeldkwaliteit zijn duurdere alternatieven beter geschikt.

Suitable for everyday, standard use (internet, listening to podcasts, watching videos and viewing photos). However, when the tablet was set up, AI software was installed, which made it difficult to shut down the tablet. Fortunately, LDLC explained to us over the phone that this was Samsung-associated software designed to assist users and that there was no risk of data being used.

Bought for my two children, mainly for Roblox... and mission accomplished! The tablets run smoothly, with no lag, a responsive interface, and are easy to use, even for them. The result: happy children, absorbed in their games... so happy parents too! (The real benchmark, let's be honest.) Good value for money, product meets expectations. I would definitely recommend it for children/family use.
