Tenda Teg1016d Switch 16 Poorten

I have purchased two of these Tenda 16 port unmanaged, Gigabit ethernet switches and one failed after a few months and the second (replacement) failed after 9 months. I will not be purchasing these in the future. The symptoms of the failure were that the LEDs lit up at each port, but packets were not being passed. It looked like it was working, but no network traffic was moving through the switch.
