Love D’Addario strings and I use different guage packs for different guitars. Like ‘em in the heavy side for better tone AND they work better for playing slide guitar

So I've had 10s on my guits forever. Moved up to 11s, which I dug, but they were still a *tiny* bit too slinky for me in D standard. Besides, I wanted to tune a little lower: C# standard. Right out of the package, these 12s felt a lot heavier. More of a noticeable jump in bulk than 10s to 11s. Strung up fine, def. more tension. You can feel these suckers. I was worried my intonation might drift, or my truss rod might need some tweaking, but everything's still solid. I'm digging these guys. Could easily go down to C standard or lower and still have some good tension, but I imagine things might start to get real buzzy unless I got some adjustments done. I think I've maybe found my setup for a while. I dig C#, and I dig these strings. As usual, Pitbull is super fast. Got these even quicker than the 11s. Like a day, tops. Really impressed. Thanks again, Pitbull:}
