This is my third Suunto watch that I have purchased since February 2016 & each one has surpassed my expectations. The ease of understanding/usage of the watch is very commended, no negative issues at all. Thank you

Been using Garmin for 10+ years, but wasn't keen to pay an arm and a leg for turn-by-turn/GPS navigation - the Suunto Race S came highly recommended within the cycling community. Fast forward to mapping out MTB routes and actually not getting lost in the middle of random winelands - fantastic. The physical build quality is way above its price equivalents from Garmin, which more and more seems to become "plasticy". The features and accuracy on GPS, distance and most general metrics make this well worth a purchase if you're looking for a multi-sport watch that does all you need it to do, looks good and doesn't break the bank.

Great watch. Excellent quality. Only issue is that sometimes the heart rate is not accurate if I wear the watch too low down on my wrist. I know this because I train with a Garmin chest strap heart rate monitor and I can compare readings from watch to strap. Also, if I have been training hard I know that my heart rate is not sitting at 90bpm as shown on Suunto...it will be above 150bpm as indicated by my Garmin chest strap. This is the only issue. For the price it is true value for money with lots of good features. Would be great if Suunto offered all their clients that bought a Race S a replacement Race S 2. The Race S 2 was developed specifically for the heart rate discrepancy - so in other words, Suunto are aware of the problem. My view is that it should be treated as a product recall. Other than the heart rate, the watch is excellent! I only give it three stars because the heart rate info is what everyone needs on a training watch.

Suunto interface was voor mij flink wennen na jaren Garmin. Niet perse positief of negatief qua ervaring. Als je het horloge voor gebruik kalibreert is het kompas op de maps ook behoorlijk nauwkeurig! Route met offline maps is even wennen natuurlijk maar werkt heel makkelijk rlen is leuk om soms wat mee te ontdekken. GPS is ook erg goed. Ik had verwacht dat HF reading minder zouden zijn maar dat valt enorm mee. Na een slechte ervaring met Garmin ben ik blij verrast! Het horloge is mooi dus en niet groot, ik heb smalle polsen. Materiaal van de behuizing voelt ook heel fijn aan. Mijn primaire sport is hardlopen. Ik vind het wel erg jammer dat er geen fysieke winkel in NL is die Suunto sportwatches verkoopt.. ik had de race s wel willen vergelijken met de race en de vertical... en dat er geen belbare klantenservice is.
