De Garmin Instinct 2S Solar Surf Edition Ericeira is een compacte, lichte sporthorloge met een uitzonderlijke batterijduur dankzij zonne-energie. Het horloge is ideaal voor actieve gebruikers die veel verschillende sporten willen tracken, van surfen tot hardlopen en fietsen. De robuuste bouw en waterdichtheid maken hem geschikt voor intensief buitengebruik. Het scherm is echter relatief klein, waardoor navigatie en kaartweergave beperkt zijn. Ook zijn de golf- en snelheidsmetingen bij surfen niet altijd accuraat en kan de batterijduur in de praktijk iets lager uitvallen dan beloofd. Voor wie veelzijdigheid, draagcomfort en lange batterijduur zoekt, is dit een sterke keuze, maar wie uitgebreide navigatie of zeer precieze surfdata wil, moet rekening houden met deze beperkingen.

Durable, accurate, reliable, and doesn't scream "I'm a smartwatch". The watch face is the perfect size. All information is readable without being needing a massive screen. Everything is optimised and works smoothly. Could not recommend more for someone wanting a "do everything" fitness tracker, with some smartwatch features!

Having struggled with an aged Fenix 5x for years that was really way to big for my girly wrist and did not have all the metrics I was interested in (pulse Ox, Body Battery, Fitness age etc.) I am thrilled with the Instinct 2S solar. So much more packed into a neat unit that is light and shaped to sit comfortably on my small wrist. its an older model but has all the bells and whistles I need and is at a great price ($769 on the Garmin site).
