De Sweet Protection Winder MIPS is een lichtgewicht ski‑ en snowboardhelm voor all‑mountain gebruik die veel technologie uit de duurdere modellen overneemt. Dankzij MIPS en in‑mold impact shields wordt impactenergie goed verdeeld, terwijl de CE EN1077 class B certificering voldoet aan de gangbare veiligheidseisen, al biedt een volschalenhelm meer bedekking rond de oren. De goggle‑garage zorgt voor een nette aansluiting met de skibril en helpt ventilatie en antifog‑prestaties te verbeteren, maar je blijft afhankelijk van een aparte bril. De passieve ventilatie en de vochtregulerende, uitneembare voering houden het klimaat in de helm comfortabel, al kun je de luchtstroom niet actief instellen. De draaiknop zorgt voor een eenvoudige maatverstelling en de afneembare, audio‑ready oorpads verhogen het comfort, maar voor muziek zijn losse sound chips nodig. De pasvorm wordt vaak als comfortabel ervaren, maar kan aan de smalle kant zijn voor gebruikers met een breder hoofd.

According to Virginia Tech, this is one of the safest helmets made. The fit is good, even without a boa system. It hugs your face like a mx helmet. Haven't taken a dirt sample, thus can't speak to how well it works. But, the design seems solid.

Fitment is perfect. I live in Texas and wasn't sure if it would be too hot for the state.. it was fine. Did I mention how I love the fitment? It helped that it was pretty light also.

Solid built helmet. Only issue is sizing across the board. I've tried a fox speed frame helmet in medium fits me perfect, the dropframe in medium is too small, size up

The will call process was smooth. The helmet Drop frame Pro, FoGetAboutIt! Hands down the best helmet I've evered own. MIPS, is the standard, Fox did a really nice job on the engineering, aesthetics are dope.
