Philips Scheerkopset HQ8/50

The replacement shaving heads are not for a 83 year old man. They are impossible to get blade in shaver. I am 78 years old & I can not get them in for him. Not simple, eyes are bad and hands are shakes . So now what ,should we do. Been using Philip NORELCO SINCE 1956 ready to give up on Philips NORELCO . The only thing I can do is return shaving heads to Walmart . He loves the shaver but replacement are impossible .

Bought these to replace the heads on my 3 year old shaver. Worst shaving experience I have ever experienced. The blades don't seem to cut cleanly. The pull on the whiskers and you don't get a close shave.Put my original heads back in and the shave was much better.

Finding a set of blades for a razor that was not made in the last few years is nearly impossible, since Philips does not offer parts for older razors. A new set of shaving blades should never be needed, but Philips tells us to wash them or to soak them in their mystery fluid. Both probably deteriorate the blades. They used to give a good brush and have a stand to keep the razor in, both of which extended the life of the blades. Of course if they made a quality razor like they used too, and gave the same info with it, you could use that for several years, then upgrade when they improve battery technology or have a truly better cutting unit.

This is a terrible product. My original blades lasted for years, but these blades remained sharp for only two months!Save your money and buy somebody else’s shaver and blades. I’ve used a Norelco for over 45 years and I’ll never buy another one.

Poor quality, poor shave not acceptable will have to try something else in future.These blades were not the same as the ones I was replacing and they perform poorly.
