De Philips OneBlade SkinProtect-mesjes zijn populair vanwege hun extra huidbescherming, vooral op gevoelige plekken. Ze zijn waterdicht en makkelijk schoon te maken, en je hebt geen scheerschuim nodig. De mesjes gaan tot vier maanden mee. Wel melden gebruikers dat kleine snijwondjes kunnen ontstaan op zeer gevoelige huid, en het scheren van grotere oppervlakken duurt langer door de smalle kop. Het resultaat is meestal stoppelvrij, maar niet altijd volledig glad. Over het algemeen zijn gebruikers tevreden, vooral voor dagelijks gebruik en gevoelige zones.

I have been using the OneBlade for two years now. The original Skin Guard attachment in came with for sensitive areas is not great, but it does the job. I decided to purchase their "New" Skin Protect Replacement Blade. It's about two dollars more expensive compared to regular replacement blades and claims to have "unmatched skin protection". It's literally the same blade, and the only difference is that it has a plastic layer in the middle they call a "skin protection cap." The idea is that the cap is thicker than the blade, so it creates a small layer that stops the blade from touching your skin. However, the moment you angle it, or it's not a flat area, it exposes the little blades to your skin and cuts you. The original Skin Guard protection attachment is a way better protect. I definitely do not recommend this new blade. It's just lazy marketing to promote the same product with not much changes.

I chose the rating because ive had mine for 3 ir 4 yrs now its the only razor I use anymore.
