De Philips Shaver 3000 S3143/00 wordt geprezen om zijn comfortabele scheerresultaat, vooral op de gevoelige huid. Het apparaat is volledig afspoelbaar en daardoor makkelijk schoon te maken. Good quality and value. Charges quickly and battery lasts a long time. Cuts quite close but you need to go over repeatedly. Definitely buy again.

After many years of wet shaving with a premium blade I decided to give electric razor a try, mainly because of convenience when we are away in our caravan. I didn't expect it to be as smooth or close as a wet shave but even so it disappointed me. I have to shave twice a day to feel like there is no stubble. Cleaning the razor is fiddly to do thoroughly so it tends to get a quick rinse under the tap. Keeping it clean and hygienic is important otherwise it tends to cause spots. Having said that, it is useful and quick to use when away from home. At home I am still using a 5 blade wet razor and feel much better for it.
