The upgrade from a standard 100Mbps to a 1Gbps network makes a world of difference! Easy to set up and configure. I now own two of these routers, and both offer great performance. This router also has a lesser-known feature called "NAT Loopback". This means that if you are hosting a server that is visible to the internet, you can still connect to that server from within your local network too. For my purposes, this was a must. Recommended!
