Netgear RAX10

Limited software capabilities. Wanted to created isolated sub networks for IoT devices with port forwarding into them from privileged networks. But this type of thing is just not possible with this router. The "guest network" sucks and doesn't support this.

This is way better than the router that spectrum gave us to use. Plus it has dual band so our printer can easily connect. Loving the range too way out by my firepit. Highly recommended.

The item is well designed. My connection is fast and secure compared to other routers.

After about 6 month I find this router requires replacement so I have it on its final notice as it were. Tech Support wanted $100 to sign me up for a contract because the warranty is only 90 days which is not nearly enough time to see if its any good. So for something that costs under $200 I was unwilling to shell out $100 for tech support. Luckily You tube came to the rescue and I have followed a video there and I am back up and running. Lets see if its consistent. Too many headaches in 6 months to give this thing any other than a 1 star review. Perhaps I will win the $500 Visa Gift Card incentive they offered me to write a review and then I can upgrade. Unlikely after they read this!

Not as good as our last Netgear unit, dealer advised me on purchase it was a better router that I requested.signal strength is lacking.
