I ride horses and I love the Helly Hanson Jackets for that. I have HH rain jackets, sailing jackets to lightweight windbreakers. I love all of them. My dad started buying HH for us all to go sailing on our 78 ft yacht. So what i'm saying is that I've been wearing HH for a very long time now and always will.

Love my jacket only reason for buying was I was lost without the one I burnt up by a bon fire it’s a great jacket couldn’t replace it fast enough !

Comfortable, waterproof, quite long (I'm 5'2", falls about 2 inches above me knee) kept me dry and not sweaty at all. Use these for dog walking on wet days, along with the Team Aden trousers. Perfect for wet days. Hood is brilliant, you can really cinch it down low over your face, keeping the rain off. I recommend HH as a former Sailor, they are the best. Big selling point for me was the water repellent ability by popping into the dryer once cleaned. Haven't tried that yet, so we'll see how that goes.

Love this jacket Wish the sleeves were a bit linger and wish the hood had a tab so it would stay rolled up when not in use and Make pockets deeper

Jacket fulfils some requirements - waterproof and warm, but find the pockets too small for phone or much else safely.
