Epson SureColor SC-P900

I already have an Epson P700 so I was not surprised with the build and set up of the P900. However the P900 and it larger prints are really good. I cannot wait to get the roll paper unit to print panoramic. I have enlisted in the Ready Print scheme from Epson and although it is early days I think this will be a great saving. Wex send and delivery is very good as well

I bought on a year and a half ago. The head gave out. It was cheaper to buy a new one than get the old one fixed

Needed an A3 printer that had both types of Blacks without changing cartridges

When it works, it is great. Have used it for approximately 75 prints in 2 years and have had nothing but feed problems..even hand feeding 1 at a time..it JAMS. Tried to print today and keeps jamming and saying there is a jam and paper in it and did not have paper loaded. Looked everywhere in the printer..no paper..yet it still wont run. Spent an hour doing this. Tired of fooling with it. I have loyally and spoke highly of and used Epson photo printers since early 2000's(17" ones). All were great until this one. Maybe its time to switch to Canon

I bought this printer at the Ottawa store in December. The original printer would not lay down ink but would transport the paper. I contacted Epson and they quickly replaced it with a new one although the process was quite involved and time consuming. The replacement printer worked perfectly right out of the box. I find the print quality on a par with my old 3800, not better and not worse. However it's been 3 months since I mailed in for the rebate and no sign of it yet.
