I bought this printer in 2023 and liked it for about a day. It does not scan multiple pages at one time (no auto feed for scanning), the wifi / wireless printing is "sketchy" (seldom works to the point where I finally just bought a printer cable)...and if you don't use the printer often, the ink will dry out in the ink wells and good luck getting it out (I gave up after watching numerous You Tube videos and I refuse to turn the entire printer upside down as suggested). The print quality is also subpar. I've finally decided to replace it - can't say I didn't give it a chance.

The WiFi is constantly dropping offline and giving error code 202620 WiFi is out or order and code 302608 System error. Folks i have literally printed only 102 pages and half of that is test pages from constantly having to clean print heads...! Negative stars if it was a option.

Bought this and within 3 months i had to make a warranty claim. Epson try troubleshooting over the phone, to no avail. So a complete replacement was needed. However I had to pay for the replacement first before they would ship it to me. Once they received the old one I would be reimbursed for the new one. Except they failed to mention I would have to pay for shipping and handling of $100. Well now with 134 pages printed on the new printer it has stopped connecting to my WiFi. Error code 202620...under no warranty so im out almost $500 with no working printer!!!

The Epson ET-2850 is definitely a good buy being robust and reliable. It features automatic double-sided printing duplex and high capacity low cost ink refills - probably cheaper than a photocopier. It works at a reasonable speed and the print quality is pretty impressive. It has a flatbed scanner that is best used via Epson scanning software on your PC rather than setting it off from the printer end. If you don't require duplex and are not going to be demanding a high yield then it would be worth considering the Epson ET-2862 as an alternative. Thank being said I have no complaints at all about the ET_2850.
