The Planar 2 was a big step up from my little at60x. I already did a bit of research and decided the planar 2 was the one for me. The guys at audio tailor showed me the ins and outs of the turntable and gave me advice around a phono pre amp. They were genuinely interested in getting me what I needed rather than pushing anything on me which I am really grateful for and will definitely be back in the future. As far as the turntable goes I love it! Just need an amp and some speakers now so will be back in for some advice on those soon!

It is a retirement present for my brother. So I haven't opened it. I can say however that it was delivered 24hrs later just as advertised. I even got it 50 pounds cheaper!!! Would highly recommend this company

The turntable is a good standard for this price, though I was a little disappointed in the finish compared to one I bought 20 years ago. Set up proved easy and aside from the very basic cartridge I am happy with my purchase.

Purchased to replace the Rega Planar 1 Plus from Smart Home Sounds (a fantastic and highly recommended company). The Planar 2 is stunning in design (as you'd expect!) Set up was just as easy as the Rega Planar 1 Plus. The sound is excellent but will look to upgrade the amp in the future to maximise the sound potential this incredible turntable offers. Also purchased Pro-Ject Head Box S2 Headphone Amplifier and paired with Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro Black Ohm Closed Back Studio Headphones. Phenomenal! Loving the vinyl revival and have chosen the perfect turntable to reconnect with my favourite format to listen to music.
