Rega Planar 1 wit mat

I like this turntable and all its simplicity. I upgraded the platter and cartridge to the Carbon Pro! Man, I am loving this sound for the bucks!

This thing started out amazing and I upgraded it with a glass platter and an Ortofon 2MR Blue cartridge and now it is beyond amazing. I definitely recommend it and there is no need to upgrade anything.

After my old record player quit working I spent some time researching turntables. I wanted one with a built in phono stage. The Rega Planar 1 Plus had good recommendations. It’s exactly what I needed. The set up was easy and the sound quality is awesome. I did have to buy a pre amp to boost the signal to my receiver. I’m looking forward to many years of listening pleasure.
