The cartridge is very tricky to change with extremely fine And delicate wires which are easy to dsmage

Very happy with quick delivery of new cartridge after my old one got damaged. I bought like-for-like as the OM 5E is perfectly capable for my purposes at a reasonable price - It allows me to enjoy old records played on an old but functional Project turntable through older but equally functional Tannoy speakers - my setup and space is not ultra-high spec or acoustically insulated but it's absolutely good enough for me to enjoy my collection. The needle doesn't need to float on a bed of aerogel while my records spin on Tungsten platter rotating on a pond of mercury.

The Q acoustics 5040 floorstanders are exceptional with detailed reproduction, transparency and and soundstage. They pair very well with my new Wiim amp streaming ultra HD, and also who their qualities when playing vinyl. Although floorstanders, they have a small footprint. They are the perfect pair of speakers.
