Mercedes-Benz Select Night is een warme, kruidig-zoete herengeur met veel kardemom, lavendel, hout en romige vanille. Reviewers prijzen vooral de sexy, avondlijke uitstraling en vinden de kwaliteit hoog voor de lage tot middelhoge prijs, waardoor hij vaak als verborgen parel wordt gezien. De geur wordt vaak vergeleken met Tom Ford Noir Extreme: een vergelijkbaar warm, kruidig en licht poederig profiel, maar dan zonder de dure niche-prijs. Tegelijk zijn de prestaties vooral gemiddeld: de meeste gebruikers melden zo’n vijf tot acht uur draagduur met matige projectie, dus geen echte powerhouse. Its not a straight up dupe of Noir Extreme, meaning it doesn’t replicate the dna. The notes are kinda the same, it does smell similar, but the dna is not there. I dont know if its because of the lack of the kulfi note.Altough it has the car-spray quality, it does smell very nice. Imagine how good this scent is to not be regarded as a simple car air freshener. 25% oil,so it did stain my clothes. After changing the atomizer its ok

I purchased this for two reasons: I love Mercedes benz club black and it kept getting mentioned as a “brother” to Noir Extreme. Well, it smells nothing like Noir Extreme. No part of it. Ever! While this is a great fragrance it’s sexy in a different way. The lavender in this fragrance is powdery and slightly aromatic but not medicinal. The woods in this come across slightly sweet and leather like. Not very spicey to my nose and not creamy. I don’t pick up any bergamot or cardamom or vanilla. It also has a “shaving cream” like note that make this very masculine to me. So I’ll enjoy this on my husband but not myself. Longevity is decent and projects for about 2 hours. Then it’s a skin scent.

This feels like perfumer Olivier Cresp remaking Tom Ford Noir Extreme, to which it bears a strong resemblance: a dark, sleek, creamy, "perfume-y" spicy-floral vanilla. Rather than the kulfi accord from, this gets its creaminess from an orange blossom heart.
