Laura Biagiotti Roma Uomo Eau De Toilette Spray 40 ml

Roma Uomo is an ambitious 1990s fragrance that divides opinion significantly. Strengths include its elegant, creamy character and pleasant citrus opening that appeals to those seeking subtle sophistication. The fragrance maintains decent longevity of 6-7 hours and works well for casual or romantic settings. However, notable weaknesses emerge: projection drops dramatically within the first hour, becoming a skin scent. The composition struggles with conflicting elements—shampoo-like freshness clashes with dark herbs, metallic lavender, and synthetic notes, creating an unpolished blend. The vanilla and musk become increasingly overbearing in the drydown. Best suited for those who appreciate vintage fragrances and don't mind limited projection; test before purchasing due to polarizing scent profile.

Roma Uomo - one of those fragrances that catapults me straight back to the 90s. Back then, as a teenager, it was one of my first "real" men's fragrances, and just the iconic Roman column bottle made an impression. This warm, synthetic, spicy-aromatic bouquet with basil, citrus, and creamy notes exuded something adult, mature - exactly what one wanted to be in their younger years. Today, I smell Roma Uomo and immediately feel that warm nostalgia: school days, first dates, the feeling that the world was open to you. The scent is classically masculine, elegant, and at the same time pleasantly understated - typically 90s, before the sweet mainstream bombs arrived. Technically perhaps not perfect, but full of character, charming, and full of memories. For me, more than just a perfume - a piece of fragrance history from my youth.

The Green Swing lives up to its name. I associate it with fresh, juicy mown grass. The tonka bean adds a spicy note to the fragrance. The longevity for me is about 3-4 hours. While that's not outstanding, it's perfectly fine for this scent character - I like to wear it before going to the gym. The atomizer is a special highlight for me, as the fragrance is in the lower segment yet still features such a high-quality atomizer.

For me, a beautiful "old school" blue scent. I rediscovered it and like it just as much as before. Masculine and elevated, for the mature man who doesn't need a big show. The scent holds back slightly, yet is still present. It fits perfectly with a suit and a freshly ironed shirt. Very classic. For those who prefer social-gushed Ambroxan bombs like Bleu de Chanel, Dior Sauvage, Dylan Blue, go for it, then I'll stand out more :-) Being different is my thing, and that's why it still gets used from time to time, the Blu di Roma. To the old times!
