L'Eau Par Kenzo Eau Indigo Pour Homme is een frisse, kruidige geur met een duidelijke gembernoot in de opening. Rarely, very rarely do you come along, getting you is quite a challenge. Still wrapped, you stand there now, you won't be leaving me anytime soon. Once I had already sprayed one of your brothers, his scent made quite an effort to surround me. Very mature, spicy, woody-dry I perceived him, my nose wasn't quite ready for that yet. You are made for men aged 35+, not intended for every audience. Complex is your soul, with you, one does not spray into the void. Spicy, sharp, biting, and dry, with that, you can't please everyone. High independence characterizes you, you are not overlooked, rather striking. You are no friend of sweetness, however, I agree with you on this, that you are a very special scent, one that is not often encountered in the air.

Men are expected to do a lot these days. They should be strong, distinctive, and self-confident, protectors and real men, indeed. At the same time, however, they should be gentle, sensitive, empathetic, and good listeners. Whether a man can or should meet these expectations is another question - but there is certainly a suitable fragrance. It is fresh, citrusy, masculine with spicy to woody notes, while a delicate, fruity, almost powdery note joins in the background. Conclusion: I have fallen for exactly this blend. It is so exciting, piques curiosity, with the masculine side prevailing. Yet it has a bit of everything. I can't get enough of it.

To get straight to the point: I cannot understand the enthusiasm for Indigo. The scent is quite nicely made - but nothing more. The penetrating fruit aromas of peach and apricot are already familiar to us from the women's fragrance "Escape." The same goes for the pudding-sweet vanilla base note. The contrast in between feels rather old-fashioned, but it doesn't exactly blow me away. And that brings us to the crucial point of criticism: Indigo is actually meant to be sold to women - for many men, it is definitely too feminine!

......this fragrance has absolutely no staying power. One reason I love Kenzo is because it lasts all day and the lingering scent is just as attractive as the initial. This has a very light and beautiful aroma; a water garden comes to mind. But, at least on me, there is no lingering scent at all. After a couple of hours, it's as if I didn't put it on; I wasn't even able to catch the scent on a passing breeze. I love Indigo, I just wish it lasted longer.
