Works very well with 2.5" hdds and Kingston 120gb SSD. Had my pair for almost four years now and still going strong. Only negative is that it is a real challenge to open the top cover due to its design. However, very well constructed plastic that can really take the heat of 7200 rpm drives running all day in a hot desktop case. Thinking of getting another pair since my son now has my originals.
