Icy Box Adapter - ICY Dock

What a great idea! Makes my SSDs and even 2.5" rotational drives totally viable in a 3.5" drive slot. Well built, solid feel, good heat dissipation. Great product!

I installed an SSD drive into this converter so I could insert it into a mobile rack. This Icy Dock converter works very well with my SSD drive and I am totally satisfied.

The SATA connector came off the back of the enclosure when I removed it. It was stuck in my drive bay until I was able to pry it out and I never could get it back together rendering it useless.

I finally decided to use an ssd in my old Mac Pro After doing some research I decided to go with this product. It arrived promptly and after opening the package I was surprised to see how easily it was to just slot the ssd into the converter No screws or fiddling with anything, press a release button pop in and snap shut The screw holes were also in exactly in the right place and the array slid smoothly back into the Mac Pro Extremely pleased and if I get another ssd I will definitely be purchasing this item again

some do not work and some do. it does not read brand new Solid State Drives, without the EZconvert the drives work.
