The Sigma 30/1.4 Art is my main portrait lens when shooting with my 1\" cameras, but also useful with my DX cameras. In an emergency, you can use it on your FX, but the corners are then quite bad, so cropping to 16:9 is recommended! Much easier to handle than its bigger brother, the 35 Art, which I used to own.

Edited 12/14 - completely rewritten. I've had this lens for about a week, and would give it five stars except for having to buy the Sigma Dock to get accurate focus. Out-of the box, it front-focused, producing unsharp images. But after adjusting the focus I am getting sharp images even at f/1.4. The lens came well-packed and included a lens cap and shade. The shade is a bit loose, however, and might fall off if I am not careful.

Purchased this lens for my A6000. It's super sharp, great colours and accurate focus. Images are better than my previous favourite lens the Sony 50mmf1.8 OSS. 30mm is the perfect all-round focal length. Nice for portraits, street or landscape. Even when you crop in, you still get a nice sharp image. If you have any of the Sony APS-C cameras, I highly recommend this one.
