De Nikon AF-D 50mm f/1.8 is een compacte prime lens met F-mount. Bevat 6 elementen in 5 groepen, f/1.8 tot f/22 diafragma, 52mm filtermaat en minimale focusafstand van 0.45m. Compatibel met FX en DX formaten, maar AF alleen op bodies met interne motor.

I had a 50mm lens a few years ago but traded it in for an 85mm F1.4 which is brilliant but I found I was stuck in tight spaces. This cracking lens is superb. Sharp and fast focusing.

I bought this lens as a lightweight standard lens for a recently purchased Nikon D850. Really sharp stopped down to f4 or so, lightweight but robust. Exceptional value for the optical quality.

I like to use aperture ring. as opposed to wheel in body. Can see setting without pressing buttons etc. weog 155 g !
