Has some weight to it. But since I am an amateur, it perfect for me to get used to a manual lens. Will buy another if it breaks.(forgot to get insurance)

Lens is great quality for the price. Not the greatest lens but great value for the money.

I shot mostly with the Art serie (85, 35, 24mm 1.4). This lens isn't as good, obviously, but I wouldn't rule it out: it's small, the bokeh is nice, and the sharpness is there.

This is a very nice lens for the money. I bought this for use on a Fuji X-Pro1 as a prime carry around lens, with this lens attached it feels and looks and handles like a good rangefinder camera, think Canon QL series. The optics are sharp, much better than I expected, it locks to the camera body securely and it focuses well. The only reason I can't 5 star it is the clickless aperture, one can't index it from one end to the other and tell where you are without looking at the lens barrel. The aperture also isn't very linear, it's almost logarithmic the way it stops down. If you can remember to focus it is a good alternative to the Fuji glass at about a third of the cost.
