D-Link DGS-1210-10/E 10-Port Layer2 Smart Managed Gigabit Switch

The D Link switch is compact and well made. works perfectly. Excellent value for money.

This switch can only handle 4 IPs… which means you can only route between 4 VLANs. Completely useless to anyone that understands the value of security or knows anything about networking. D-Link is a dumb company for thinking this would be ok - it should also be on the box as this is false advertising because it says it supports Layer 3 and 256 VLANs……. But it literally doesn’t. Don’t buy this crap unless you want to run into pointless limitations and have to compromise on security.

I purchased this item on June 23, 2020 I was happy until now. I'm having a problem with the switch(could be a firmware bug) & when I called D-Link Business Support I got the most odd ball tech support in my life. In the end all they wanted was to refund me vs replacing it or even trying to troubleshoot it, they did not even let me really tell them what was wrong with it nor did I ever get to talk to someone technical. It was really odd. So all and all the switch was ok but D-Link may have lost their minds or something. I'm going to buy a Cisco - CBS350-16T-2G & deal with professionals when I need help.

Worked great. I was in need of a switch that had POE and this one didn't. I had to return it back, but connection was it worked great.

Good Points: Allowed me to use the full broadband speed
