I’ve had this machine about 2 years - bought it because it can do both overlock and cover hem. My only problem - it’s a big one ! - while doing the cover hem, it will be stitching along just fine when, suddenly, the fabric is pulled down into the teeth of the needle plate. It’s then very difficult to get the fabric out. Besides the frustration of this, I’ve ended up with holes in the fabric. I’ve called Singer, more than once! explained the problem totally, and was told to only use Singer needles, which I’ve done since then. I’ve adjusted tensions, used only Singer needles, and have fought with this the entire time I’ve had the machine. The latest advice from Singer is take it to a local Singer repair, and I haven’t been able to find one . Has anyone else had such a problem? Does anyone have any advice for me? I’m very disappointed in the Singer customer support.

The machine has many great functions, but doesn’t do them as well as an industrial version would. I spent days learning how to thread properly, which wasn’t a big deal. The stitches, however weren’t clean and even every time. It took a lot of adjusting just to get something decent. I tried to love this product very much, but for the price, it wasn’t amazing for the quality of work I was looking to do. Plus, the top threading holes were faulty. I struggled to thread at the top end because there was no gap to pull the thread through. Instructions called for the thread to pull through easily, but there was no gap. The hole was so small and in an awkward place, that I struggled using the tweezers to thread. Took more effort than I was willing to want to deal with. It didn’t work for me, but I’m a fashion industry professional with 30 years experience. This could be perfect for someone who home crafts.

I've worked with coverstitch machines before, and this one is the worst. Sure, it has a lot of features, but it's overly complicated, and in my case, unusable. The user manual is basically useless because it's lacking a lot of pertinent details. I couldn't get any stitches sewn. I looked at YouTube videos, but no help. I can't figure out how to get the final stages of the looper hooked up! I'm returning it and getting an easier to setup and use machine.

Super maquina, aunque realmente no la he empleado mucho esta super. Próximamente agregaré más descripción a medida que la use.
