i did the research when my wife mentioned dual clip of screens for her to work out of our camper so she can have a extended weekend away from home. We desided to buy 2 portable stand alone monitors instead. along with a small pig tsil docking station. She Absolutely Loves the 2 seperate monitors with her lap top combined the fit nicely on the camper dinette table. She is now able extends her weekend an additional 2 days!

ASUS isn't interested in supporting their product. The product was convenient and worked well. However, once product support was needed the problems arose. First communicating with their customer support service was nearly impossible, the person's English comprehension was poor and it took many times for him to correctly repeat my e-mail address, even after I spelled it out several times phonetically. Second ASUS approved my return and now wants me to pay for shipping. The postage is from $25 to $40. Not impressed.

I used it about five times and always stored it in the provided case when not in use. I took great care of it. One day, when I set it up, the screen was malfunctioning. After a thorough inspection, I found no visible damage and tried different cables, but nothing worked. I went through the Asus RMA process, and when they received it, they claimed the screen was cracked. I wouldn’t have pursued an RMA if I had known about any physical damage, and I can assure you there was none when I shipped it back. I packed it very carefully to prevent any damage during transit. Either there was damage I didn’t notice, which suggests poor build quality since I handled it carefully, or Asus damaged it. Regardless, I’m out $280 after just five uses. Their repair estimate was nearly $200. What a disappointment. Avoid this product.

Didnt want to get the ROG Strix, but this works for casual gaming. Needed something to take on the road so I could play fallout 4 or other games on my ps4/5 on business trips. Glad it has hdmi to mini hdmi and two usb-c ports so I can have it pluged in to power and be able to play video games. Video quality is great for casual gaming. It does have a sound port, but Ive been using the wireless headset through the ps4/5. Overall, great alternative if dont want to spend so much on a ROG Strix portable monitor.
