Asrock B450 PRO4 R2.0 ATX AM4 4 DDR4 TU Zwart

Keurig betaalbaar moederbord, met verrassend veel aansluitingen en Bios features. Hoewel ssd en geheugen niet in de QVL stonden, heb ik daar geen problemen mee gehad. Januari 2020 gekocht, bios was al geschikt voor Zen 2. Draait met: Ryzen 5 3600, Kingston A2000 500Gb, Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 (2x8Gb).

Gekocht wegens overlijden Asrock X370 Taichi. Kan alles wat ik ook wou van de Taichi. En dat voor 80 euro. No frills board, geen overbodige luxe. Stroomvoorziening is adequaat met 9 fases. Let op: M2_1 blokkeert PICE4, M2_2 blokkeert SATA 3 en 4.

Heb dit bordje nu bijna 2 jaar voor mijn backup PC waar ik 2 systemen (dualboot) op draai. FIjn dat ie 2 Nvme aansluitingen heeft en dan nog eens 4 HD/SSD's. Draait probleemloos.

Even though the manual indicates that all 6 sata ports can be used if there are not m.2 sata devices on the second M.2 slot as that slot works through sata interface and shares lanes with ports 3 and 4, this is false. If I connect any device on ports sata_3 and sata_4, the OS takes about 5 minutes to load (the OS being installed in a nvme ssd drive on the first M.2 slot and working through PCIe interface). I got a replacement board from Amazon (Great customer support, guys!) but the issue persisted. I've performed all combinations of devices on these sata ports. I've tried with BIOS 3.50 and 4.20. I've confirmed the NVME firmware to be up to date and be in the list of compatible devices. It seems like a bad design. I bought this board as I was in need of having 5 sata ports instead of the 4 ports on my previous MB and got dissapointed with this. First and last time I get an Asrock product.

Mooi bord dat alles doet wat ik ervan verlang. De koeler was redelijk eenvoudig aan te sluiten en de handleiding was goed te volgen. Daarnaast is het bord overzichtelijk ingedeeld. Let wel: de ryzen 5000 serie cpu's wordt niet ondersteund zonder een uefi-update. Let hier dus op als u een dergelijke cpu koopt.
