Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 (2021) 64GB - Moonlight White

Honestly loved the phone. Great value. Not too keen on the camera though.

Would be 5 stars but the phone is NOT unlocked. It is unlockable but they force you to sign up for their company account program and then you have to apply for unlocking which they assign you a random number of hours (mine is 168) and then after that period you reapply and they either extend the wait time or unlock it. You also have to agree to share all of your data with third parties during the wait time to unlock.

We bought it for our mother, she travels to Europe every year and needed an unlocked phone. Works perfect with Mint mobile and Tmobile. Everything is as described, the plug is Euro which is OK but we have plenty of chargers available. Very happy with quality, all I can do is recommend it.

So, this phone is amazing to a degree, but there are issues. Overlays are disabled is one of them, but I can ignore that. The camera app crashing? Fine, I can ignore that. The phone reaching a temperature that is so hot I need an oven mit to use it? I have no intentions of trusting this phone company again. I'm going back to Asus. I threw out the phone and I am annoyed because I expected more for my money.

Not a true 4G phone. Looks great but works very rarely. I wish I would have spend couple of extra dollars to get better phone. Although it's Iin same Network and same place it would not get connected
