De Xiaomi 15T biedt een uitstekende Leica-camera die scherpe foto's en veel creatieve opties levert, vooral voor portretten en straatfotografie. Het toestel presteert soepel dankzij de krachtige processor en 12GB RAM, en het heldere AMOLED-scherm maakt media kijken prettig. De bouwkwaliteit en het ontwerp voelen premium aan. Nadelen zijn het ontbreken van optische stabilisatie op de telelens, waardoor zoomen minder stabiel is, en de processor is minder krachtig dan in echte vlaggenschepen. Ook zijn er soms onnatuurlijke kleurtonen bij weinig licht en ontbreekt een microSD-slot. Voor wie fotografie en design belangrijk vindt, is dit een sterke keuze, maar wie maximale prestaties of uitbreidbaar geheugen zoekt, moet rekening houden met deze punten.

Like previous entries in Xiaomi’s T-series, the 15T gives you a flagship-like experience at a bargain price. It’s a great all-rounder, no matter whether you’re looking for style, camera quality, performance or battery life. Sadly, while the Pro has received some more substantial upgrades, the base 15T feels a lot like its predecessor, and that makes it hard to get excited about. It’s a very good phone, but it doesn’t have quite the same draw as its Pro sibling.
