Samsung Galaxy Xcover Pro Zwart

Bought mine almost 2yrs ago, I work outdoor mainly on roofs in all weathers, I've even accidentally dropped in bath (twice), no problem to this phone. Will buy again when needed.

Bought this phone because I lost 3 Samsung phones in about 20 months through water damage, two of them during rain showers (not immersed), even with protective covers! So the IP68 rating of this phone was the main selling point. It is quite thick and heavy, but works OK. I have also fitted a heavy duty (Spigen) cover and tempered glass screen which add to the bulk, but should make it last more than 6 months!

Replaceable battery for professionals. The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro is a robust phone built for tough environments. Apart from the robust case design, it mainly tries to win over prospective customers with its camera. In our review, we take a closer look at the outdoor smartphone.

Blast from the past. After two years of research and development Samsung has finally released a successor to its Galaxy XCover outdoor smartphone. The XCover 4s not only comes with a robust case protected against dust and water ingress, but it also offers one special feature that almost no other outdoor cell phone can.
