De Samsung Galaxy A16 5G is een budgettelefoon van ongeveer €200 die vooral opvalt door zijn uitzonderlijke 6 jaar software-ondersteuning en prachtige 6,7-inch Super AMOLED-scherm met 90Hz verversingssnelheid. Het scherm biedt levendige kleuren en goede helderheid, perfect voor video's en sociale media. De 5000mAh batterij gaat gemakkelijk een dag mee met 25W snelladen. Helaas is de grootste zwakte de trage prestatie: het toestel stottert regelmatig bij scrollen, app-wisseling en opstarten, zelfs na de Android 15-update. Met slechts 4GB RAM worstelt de Exynos 1330-chip met multitasking. Gaming is niet aangeraden. Kopers moeten bedenken of ze het gebrek aan snelheid kunnen accepteren voor de andere voordelen. Geen koptelefoonaansluiting of stereo-luidsprekers zijn verdere minpunten. Voor gebruikers die vooral waarde hechten aan lange software-ondersteuning, een mooi scherm en prima batterij, en geen zware taken uitvoeren, kan dit toestel voldoen.

After using my daughter's phone for months, getting this samsung A16 was by far the best decision ever. I love the phone because it's not too big and it fits to my daily routine just nice. the space gives me an opportunity to have many folders and pictures even apps that I can install without having to worry that space might run out.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: the phone sim tray only has space for either two sim cards or one sim card and an sd card, you cannot put both sim cards and sd card at the same time. Secondly: if you come from any higher end phone like any S series Samsung, you are definitely going to be disappointed by the lower UI speed and loading times. Beautiful phone with good battery but the phone is cheap for a reason.
